Buty has a lot of jobs both inside and outside this body. She is a very important and integral part of the functioning of this system. Her self image is that of a four-year-old child and that is very dear to her, but anyone who truly knows her has seen her razor sharp wit and intellect and the amazing clarity and focus she can direct at whatever subject has taken her interest at that moment. Buty was the first of us 'insiders' to consciously choose to expose herself to the outside world. She took the risk and broke the ice to allow the rest of us to follow in her wake. She is a superb diplomat and communicator as well as a cross between a cheerleader and a cruise director. Best of all she seems to know when each of her many talents will be most useful as we stumble and experiment our way through new situations and new friendships/relationships. One of her finest qualities and most important 'roles' in our system is her willingness to try new things and her overwhelming curiosity and openness about the outside world. With her around we never run the risk of become stagnant or reclusive. She says she is not finished being four yet... and there are a variety of bets going as to whether or not she ever will be. My belief is that she wants to give herself a chance to experience as much of the world as possible and that the eyes of a four-year-old make every moment full of wonder and magic. I hope that even if she ever 'grows up' that she will never lose that special ability. I asked her to let me write this preview to what she has to say because Buty is famous for believing she is not that important and I wanted everyone to know just how vital a role she plays in our existence.
